Many years ago during a visit to my homeland, Ireland, I was struck by the beauty, color and functionality of native Irish textiles. It was at this point that I began to explore the possibility of designing and producing a collection of elegant throws and scarves and bringing them to the United States. Thus, Sorcha was born. Quality, beauty and uniqueness define the Sorcha concept.
Sorcha (pronounced “sor-sha”) is the Irish word meaning Sarah. I, Sarah (O’Sullivan) Kim, am pleased to introduce you to these gorgeous throw blankets and scarves I was born and raised in a small seaside town south of Dublin, Ireland. I moved to the United States in the late 1980’s, graduated from Wellesley College, and currently resides in Boston with my husband and three sons. I still have very close ties to Ireland where my mother and five siblings still live.
Designed with your customers in mind, my throws and scarves are made of only the finest materials and are available in many dynamic colors and patterns. A vast array of mohair, merino and cashmere, and lambswool throws and scarves will make even the most discerning buyer delighted by the decorative value and versatility of each piece.
My knowledgeable staff and I are dedicated to bringing these exceptional products to you in hopes that your faithful clientele will be greatly served.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely, Sarah O’Sullivan-Kim
